How It Works

Connected from space
to your front door

Netara's LEO satellite constellation orbits at just 550km above Earth — close enough to deliver speeds and latency that rival fiber.

Step 01
Signal from Orbit
Our satellites constantly orbit overhead at 550km, maintaining a dense mesh network that blankets the entire continental U.S. with high-speed signal.
Step 02
Dish on Your Roof
A compact, motorized Netara dish self-aligns to track satellites automatically. Mount it on any clear south-facing surface — setup takes under 30 minutes.
Step 03
Fast Wi-Fi Indoors
The Netara gateway router creates a whole-home Wi-Fi 6 network. Stream, work, game, and video call simultaneously — all on one connection.
Why Netara

Built for people
who need it most

01
Low-Earth Orbit Advantage
Traditional geostationary satellites sit 35,000km up, causing 600ms+ latency. Netara's LEO constellation orbits at just 550km — 60× closer — delivering latency under 25ms that makes video calls, gaming, and real-time apps actually work.
02
No Data Caps on Priority Plans
Unlimited data means unlimited freedom. Priority and Enterprise plans include unlimited high-priority data — no throttling after 50GB, no overage fees, no anxiety about usage. Stream 4K all month long.
03
Self-Install in 30 Minutes
Your kit arrives with a motorized dish, mounting hardware, gateway router, and a step-by-step app that guides you through placement and alignment. No technician visit required — most customers are online within 30 minutes of opening the box.
04
24/7 Priority Support
Every Netara customer gets access to our support team around the clock. Priority and Enterprise customers get a dedicated line with engineers who can remotely diagnose and resolve most issues in minutes — not days.

"We run a cattle ranch 40 miles from the nearest town. Before Netara we had nothing — literally nothing. Now my kids do homework on video calls and I manage our books online every night. It changed everything."

"I work remotely and moved to a mountain cabin — everyone told me I was crazy. Netara had me up and running in 25 minutes. 400Mbps on a Zoom call with no drops. I'm never going back to the city."

FAQ

Questions answered.

How long does installation take?
Most customers complete self-installation in 20–35 minutes. Your kit includes the Netara Dish v2, mounting hardware, a 30m PoE cable, and the gateway router. The Netara app walks you through placement and auto-alignment step by step.
Do I need a clear sky view?
Yes — the dish needs a clear view of the sky with minimal obstructions. Dense tree canopy or tall buildings nearby may impact signal. Our app includes a sky-view checker that scans your location and tells you the ideal mounting position before you commit.
What happens during bad weather?
Heavy rain and snow can cause brief signal degradation — typically a few seconds of slower speeds. The dish is IP67 rated and has built-in heating to melt snow automatically. 99.95% of the time, weather has no noticeable effect on your connection.
Can I use Netara while traveling or in an RV?
Yes — with our Portability add-on ($25/month), you can use your Netara dish at any address in the coverage area. Many customers mount dishes on RVs or trailers and connect from national parks, campgrounds, and remote job sites.
Is there a contract or cancellation fee?
No contracts, ever. Cancel any time with no cancellation fee. If you cancel within 30 days of activation, we'll refund your first month and arrange free hardware return pickup. After 30 days, hardware is non-refundable.
How does the hardware fee work?
There's a one-time hardware fee of $299 for the dish and gateway router. This hardware is yours to keep. We occasionally offer promotions where hardware is discounted or included — check our plans page for current offers.
What speeds can I realistically expect?
Essential customers typically see 50–100 Mbps. Performance customers see 200–500 Mbps. Business customers see 500 Mbps to 1 Gbps. Speeds vary based on satellite traffic, obstructions, and time of day — peak hours (7–10 PM local) may see slightly lower throughput.
Do you offer business or enterprise plans?
Yes. Our Business plan includes a 99.95% SLA, static IP, BGP routing support, dual router with failover, and a dedicated account manager. For larger deployments or custom requirements, contact our enterprise sales team for a tailored quote.
